There seem to be lots of different tools around now – does Becta expect us to use more than one?
Actually there isn’t a tool out there like this that will help you strategically plan how you use technology effectively. Generator builds upon previous tools (such as ELPS and WELPS) but offers you more and is suitable for all providers in the FE system. While the use of Generator is not going to be mandatory, we think that leaders and managers will choose to use this as the tool they feel most appropriate to their needs.
